A World Traveler Am I

So this coming year should be pretty awesome. I am spending all of my savings, but I get to go to both Germany and Japan within the next 5 months.

My mom’s side of the family is taking me to Germany to visit with relatives, explore castles, and other awesome shit, for spring break. I’ve been trying to decide on places to go, but I don’t really have any money. Which means I can’t really take the train all over the place. I kind of want to go to Berlin, but I have no strong reason, and actually, Paris is closer to where I am going to be, therefore cheaper. Also, I am only going to be there for 10 days, minus travel, so I will probably be better off just hanging around Trier. I am going to get my hands on a bike over there, too, which should give me a little more flexibility.

The Japan trip is actually an art class through western. I am going to be there for 3 weeks, staying in Tokyo, Hiroshima, Kyoto, and a buddhist temple. We’ll be visiting many museums, and learning about their traditional paper and fabric arts. It’s pretty sweet. Almost worth my lifes savings. =P

After that, well, I imagine I will still be stuck working shitty hours at the Haggen everyday for the rest of the summer! Woot!
